The Southeast Community Health Worker Network (SECHWN) and the Kentucky Association of Community Health Workers (KYACHW) have joined forces this year to co-host a powerful regional conference. On September 18th and 19th, this gathering will provide a dedicated space for individuals to celebrate the impact of their work, share best practices, and address ongoing challenges and barriers within the field. This year's theme is CHWs in the Winner’s Circle
The primary goal of this conference is to foster collaboration across the Southeastern region, allowing participants to support one another and collectively advocate for the advancement of the Community Health Worker (CHW) profession.
Our mission is “to strengthen the collective impact of the Community Health Worker profession and advance health equity across the Southeastern United States.”
SECHWN is proud to be one of the only regional CHW networks in the country, with active engagement since its founding in November 2020. We are especially excited to announce that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Kentucky Association's annual conference — a significant milestone in our shared commitment to health equity.
This conference aims to bring together CHWs, allies, and advocates from across the region to continue driving progress in the fight against health disparities — and to ensure equity for all.
Coming together, we can bring recognition to this valuable and impactful work while also building sustainability for the future of the Community Health Worker profession! This is an event you will not want to miss!
