Registration is officially OPEN for Columbia Black Maternal Health Week 2026 (April 11-17)! Join us for a week dedicated to being rooted in Justice & Joy!
Here's a glimpse of what's in store:
- Saturday, April 11th: Moms, Babies and Families Marketplace @ Drew Wellness in partnership with City of Columbia. Discover resources and support for prenatal planning, pregnancy, and postpartum. This year we will have panels, and breakout workshops around several topics of maternal health and maternal health advocacy. We will kick the morning off at 9am with Yoga at Drew on the lawn and open the marketplace at 10am! We already have 27 vendors REGISTERED!!
- Monday, April 13th: Vibe with Moms @ Vibez Coffee from 6pm - 8pm.This coffee happy hour drop in is a community meet and greet, come out and get to know other mom organizations here in the community. This evening will be a time of network, gather, laughther and play. Open to everyone and children are welcome to attend because why not! We are MOMS right!
- Wednesday, April 15th: Virtual Global Gathering: "Let's Talk Homebirth" Join a panel of experts to learn the ins and outs of homebirth. Leave the gathering being informed on who are ideal persons for homebirth. Come get connected and informed!
- Friday, April 17th: 2nd Annual Birth Worker Awards Gala, “Carrying The Legacy" Join us for an unforgettable evening as we gather to honor, celebrate, and carry forward the legacy of birth workers and advocates who continue to shape maternal health in our communities. Nominations are now open for a deserving birth worker, advocate or organization. This is a ticketed event. Live music, food catered by Kiki's Chicken and Waffle, DJ ShejTO Spinning and a signature drink to celebrate all your hard work. Sponsor tables and VIP tables are also available. Early bird ticket sales end March 13th!
