This training explores the relationship between perimenopause, hormones, and contraception. Through case-based learning, we will discuss clinic assessment approaches and examine how contraceptive methods can help manage symptoms of perimenopause while supporting patients’ need for pregnancy prevention during this phase of life. We empasize person-centered contraceptive counseling and shared decision-making practices and techniques to support patients' autonomous and informed decision-making.
