NACHW's Workforce Development Committee is excited to host the first webinar in its quarterly learning series: "Elevating CHW Voices, Building Capacity, Transforming Systems." As part of this learning series, participants will increase knowledge, strengthen skills, and build confidence to apply NACHW’s promising practices within their position, organization, community, and state.

NACHW first released the promising practices in 2025, which seek to improve CHW’s workplace satisfaction, retention and quality of service within organizations. The learning series will explore the promising practices through four levels of impact: the individual CHW, the employer/organization, the community ecosystem, and the systems/policy environment. Each session builds on the previous one so participants understand that successful CHW practice depends on more than individual skills, it also requires supportive organizations, community partnerships, and supportive systems/policies.
