CCHA Training

  1. Our training is rooted in the People’s Education model, also known as Popular Education, ensuring content is accessible, culturally relevant, and grounded in real-life experience. We center CHWs by including them as facilitators as well as co-creators of every training. Independent third-party evaluators help us maintain high standards and continuously improve through objective feedback. All trainings are offered in-person OR virtual. Hybrid facilitation is not offered. We do not record our live training sessions. For more information please visit our website. If you have questions, contact our training team at chwitraining@mailbox.sc.edu. If you are interested in a hosting a training please fill out our training request form.

CEU Approved Training

Modeled after our CHW Core Competency Training, our trainings are co-developed by subject matter experts and experienced CHWs who have worked directly with the specialty population. These trainings have been CHW CEU approved by the South Carolina Community Health Worker Association.
