Registration: CHWs Tackling the New Wave of Youth Nicotine Use

Youth nicotine use continues to evolve, and Community Health Workers are on the front lines of prevention and education. During this session, we will explore how tobacco marketing normalized smoking, review the public health strategies that drove historic declines in tobacco use, and examine how e‑cigarettes and emerging nicotine products threaten hard‑won progress. Participants will learn about emerging trends, key challenges, and practical strategies to support youth and families in their communities.

Featured Speakers

  • M. Suann Gaydos, RDH, MSDH, NCTTP Director, Certified Tobacco Treatment Training Program West Virginia University
  • Kellie Lamb Senior Program Manager, Tobacco Control American Cancer Society.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance, which may be submitted to their credentialing organization for CE credit approval. We hope you’ll join us for this important conversation and encourage you to share the invitation with others who may benefit.
