We are thrilled to announce the PREFER CHW Training Program, a groundbreaking initiative designed to empower CHWs with the knowledge and skills to engage in genomics research and education.
This program addresses a critical need in public health by enhancing diversity in the genomics workforce and equipping CHWs to support their communities in understanding genetic information.

Training Highlights:
o Comprehensive genomics curriculum (10 key competencies)
o Hands-on Practical Applications Project
o Mentorship and resources to continue delivering genomics education
Cost:
o Free to participate
o CHWs will be compensated at the conclusion of the training

Application Deadline: Friday, August 15
Notice of Acceptance: Monday, August 25
Program Start Date: the week of September 15
