Interested in a Larger Leadership Role with SCCCHWA?
SCCHWA is seeking applicants interested in serving on the Board.
The SCCHWA Board Nominating Committee is seeking members interested in serving in leadership as we work to build a healthier South Carolina by promoting education, networking, and advocacy for the Community Health Worker profession.
To declare your interest, fill out this application, include a resume, one letter of reference, a statement on why you want to serve on the Board, and what you bring to this organization.
All paperwork must be received by 5:00 p.m.
November 24, 2025.
Partial submissions will not be considered.
Criteria:
To be eligible for nomination as a board member of the South Carolina Community Health Worker Association (SCCHWA), the following criteria must be met:
- Membership Status: The nominee must be an active member in good standing of the South Carolina Community Health Worker Association (SCCHWA).
- Supervisor Authorization: Nominees must have received authorization from their direct supervisor to serve on the board.
- Organizational Representation: To ensure diverse representation, no two board members can be from the same organizational location.
- Participation Commitment: Nominees should be available for virtual monthly meetings and occasional in-person meetings. Board members are also expected to actively participate in or lead work groups to support the SCCHWA’s mission.
Voting will take place during the Annual Meeting.
