Career Compass Incentive Program

Posted By: Rashad Paige CHW Resources, Latest News,

We're thrilled to introduce you to an exciting opportunity that's tailor-made for professionals like you—the Career Compass Incentive Program. This initiative, in collaboration with SC First Steps and funded by the federal Preschool Development Grant Birth through Five Initiative, is a game-changer for CHWs across the state.

What is the Career Compass Incentive Program?

The Career Compass Incentive Program is designed to elevate the skills and knowledge of CHWs by providing access to a series of training modules aligned with the National Core Competency Framework. These modules are personalized to address individual needs, identified through a pre-assessment, thereby enhancing your ability to serve your communities effectively.

How does it work?

By participating in the Career Compass program, you have the opportunity to earn monetary incentives based on your completion of coursework and certification exam:

  • Complete the Pre-Assessment + 3 courses (including course quizzes) OR complete 5 courses through the portal to be eligible for a $100 incentive.

  • Pass the Certification Exam to qualify for an additional $200 incentive along with a $150 reimbursement for the cost of the exam.

Why should you participate?

Engaging with the Career Compass program goes beyond financial rewards. It empowers you with valuable knowledge and skills essential for your role as a CHW. By investing in your professional development, you're not only enhancing your own career but also making a positive impact on the health and well-being of the communities you serve.

Act Now!

The window to receive incentives is closing soon—June 30th, 2024. Don't miss out on this opportunity to advance your career and make a difference in the lives of others. Spread the word among your fellow CHWs to ensure everyone can benefit from this program before the deadline.
